Quick question - why do the Raiders get 37 PA when a blocked punt TD while the offense was on the field directly led to the TD? Shouldn't it be 31 PA? A fumble recovery wouldn't count against the Defense.
Actually that's a damn good question... and may result in a stat correction.
Think of this scenario... if they ran a fake punt and threw an interception that went for a pick-6 those points would NOT count against the defense because it would have been an offensive play. So isn't punt formation still considered offense?
