  • Who gets first round bye?

    In a league with divisional winners, but with "seeded by overall standings", who gets the 2 byes? Would it be the top two divisional champs after the divisional tiebreakers are applied? Or, if a team came in 2nd in a division would it ever be possible for that team to get a bye?

      If all your league settings state is"seeded by overall standings" you can't ...

      If all your league settings state is"seeded by overall standings" you can't assume that there's anything else in play. Can you view the playoff picture on the " playoffs " tab on your league page at the top of the standings? This may clue you in since it shows how the playoffs would be seeded today.

        Thanks. We have division champs. So my question basically boils down to if a guy comes in 2nd in his division due to divisional record, but has scored more points than any other team, will he get a bye. I assume the answer is no. The situation is not present at the moment or indeed the playoffs tab would answer my question.
