Most Rediculous Game This Season
Wow. I just finished the weirdest game of the season in my league (Standard Yahoo H2H 10 teams). Both teams finished with the first and second lowest scores of the season for the entire league, with a final score of 58.8 to 35.4. Yahoo's projection for the week was a score of 97 to 89. Our scores were so bad, that if they were combined and played as a singe team against the rest of the league, they would have lost all the other matchups for the week.
I think both myself and the other manager are stunned by the performances of both teams. Quarterbacks came through for both teams, with Drew Brees and Peyton Manning combining for nearly half the total score in the game. My kicker (Dan Bailey of the Cowboys) was my team's second highest scorer. Outside of the kicker, every one of my players scored below projections (often by huge margins - Antonio Gates for example).
Has anyone else ever had such a low scoring game (both teams combined)?
