What's the general opinion about starting two players from the same team? I've got Denarius Moore (other options D. Jackson, T. Smith, maybe pick up Edelman?) and I'm considering picking up B. Myers now that Gronk is out. Myers seems to be the best TE available (out of Olsen, Keller, Chandler) but would two guys take away points from each other, leaving one having a good day and another not so good? How is such a situation usually handled?
Thanks for input.
Definitely pick up Myers. Both him and Moore are doing well with Carson Palmer and they don't really take targets away from each other. In fact, starting both ensures you get the most out of a decent passing game in Oakland since they're less likely to run the ball without DMC. Myers has the potential to finish with top 10 fantasy numbers at TE, so go for him with confidence. That's what I did.
Would you mind answering my question titled "Is Maclin worth keeping?" Thanks.
If it's just two players, it usually isn't a huge deal. Generally the big issue is bye weeks, but that's gone now. Starting two from the same team usually will guarantee a small level of safety. Its less risky, but potentially less rewarding.

Spot on assessment by Ryan. Typically if you start 2 players from the same team, especially 2 receivers, you want them to be the first and second options on their respective team. A great example would be Tomas/Decker or Colston/Graham. QB/WR is too boom or bust in my opinion unless it's an elite QB. Last year Smith/Cam was money in the bank but usually it doesn't work out like that. In your case if those are the best options you have I would go with them. Don't worry about the team situation, play your best players from here on out.
