Throwing a game for playoff matchups?

i've locked down the #1 overall spot. playoffs start next week. the guy I play this week is fighting for the last playoff spot. if he wins he's in. the other guy fighting for the last spot needs to win and needs me to win. his team is really strong and has some really easy matchups in the playoffs. should I throw the game this week so the easier guy makes it or will that upset the fantasy gods?

  If you have players on your roster that play Sunday night or Monday you could use them as your backup for the game. If, after the Sunday games, you are going to lose anyway, then you can play them without anyone being the wiser. If it looks like you may win, then you could 'rest' them. That being said, the person getting pushed out could be pissed
