Have a commish question. A trade was agreed upon over text message between two owners before the deadline. One owner fell asleep and now the deadline has passed. It was brought up to adjust the rosters to have the trade go through. 11 of 12 owners have the opinion that the trade should go through. One owner is complaining that the deadline passed and he will release his whole team if the deal is made. Should I make these changes saying both owners and the rest of the league think it should go through or not because one owner objects?
majority rules so trade should go through UNLESS one of your league rules is concensus. if the 12th manager dumps his team, 1. lock him, 2. put back his players, 3. ask yahoo to replace the manager (find a new one..yahoo will do this) or run it yourself for the remainder of the season.
if your league runs by concensus, then the trade shouldn't go through. forget about falling asleep thing. gl!
if your playing on yahoo the commish can lock him out so he cant make any moves like releasing his players.I agree with him though. Rules are rules and you dont change them during the season.Falling asleep is a lame excuse. Now next time someone wants a rule changed they just get a majority rule and say "well you changed the trade deadline so why not this?'
What players are involved in the trade and do you think that it's a fair trade as well? If you think it's fair and everybody else thinks its fair the adjust the rosters. I also agree that you should not let the other guy drop his team. I'd just lock his team and let it run since all byes are done for the year.
majority rules. don't understand the whole falling asleep thing but if 11 out of 12 are in agreement, do it. tell the 1 guy who's creating drama to remember this is FANTASY football. tell him to get over it or go cry to his mommy.
