I have notice a ton of people complaining about losing to cheating commishes...Yahoo can do something about it for next year and all years...All they have to do is put a rule in for private league that read...after the regular season is over the commish's tools are shut off and can not be used. And yahoo should not allow the commishes to mess with someone elses team either during the regular season it would suck to see a guy cheat his way to the playoffs.
WE SHOULD ALL STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT. EMAIL YAHOO AND TELL THEM TO MAKE THESE CHANGES SO THERE IS NO MORE CHEATING.
COPY AND PASTE THIS PRE-TYPED EMAIL THEN SEND IT TO YAHOO FANTASY SPORTS.
To whom it may concern,
I am sick and tired of people cheating in yahoo fantasy to win championships. Only a Commish can do this because of the stupid control yahoo gives to the Commish...Yahoo if you do not want to lose fantasy players and business from current members then add these rules for the up come years of fantasy.
1. The Commish should have no control to add or drop player on other teams.
2. The Commish should have no control to change any team line ups.
3. And the most important rule...The Commish's tools should be shut off after the regular season. The only control the commish should have to to lock out a team from posting or emailing.
Thank you for your understanding in this matter. Next year if these rules are not added i will leave Yahoo Fantasy for ESPN, NFL, Sportsline or any other fantasy company.
A Yahoo Fantasy Sports customer.
I am in a league where the comish has added players and changed lineups after the games. He does this every week for himself and his g-friend. They are both 1st and 2nd. After some research I have found that Snoopy's (aka darren wrasse) all stars and Woodstock have been doing this for years. Since this is a private league yahoo will not adress the problem and they will continue to cheat and pile up trophey's. Yahoo needs to do something about this! Many people are having bad ff experiences due to this issue.
Hey, we've ALL been there and experienced fantasy football cheating. Doesn't matter whether its a Commissioner, or another player cheating, it always sucks. However, its not Yahoo's concern, especially in the Free Game. From experience I can tell you the ONLY way to handle this is to ONLY Private League with close friends, or associates whom you can reasonably trust (or can lay your hands on in person...lol). For the past 3 seasons my friends and I have maintained our own Private Leagues and the games have been copacetic. Yahoo allows the formation of leagues as small as 4 players I believe and all for free. Give it a try.
You people are so stupid...You say don't play with a commish who cheat, well there are thousands of commish's out there and i know of only 3 who have cheated so far i am in 3 leagues that continue everey year and they are fair and i a commish 2 of them...but i have 3 other accounts and play full teams on them so you have to take a chance and hope the commish is honest...the public leagues suck...because i like to play the individual defensive players...The only way to avoid cheating commishes is to comish yourself or join a sorry as public league!!!!
Yahoo can easily make the proper changes to keep a commish from stealing games and championships...There are atleast two commishes on here that have abused the commishes tools to steal money in some league...There is where you have to be smart and never play for money unless you personally know the commish.
Yahoo needs to step it up and make fantasy fun again so their customers can join any league they want without the worry, is the commish a criminal or just a cheater out to win and steal money in money leagues!!!

YAHOO must change the league because 40 people out of 0ver a million complain .. not to mention yahoo clearly warn you about joining private league .. not to mention every single year the same ammount of people complain about cheating and yahoo does nothing .. I don't blame them it 40 out of a million who cares ..
personal resposibilty say you should not join a private league you are not sure of .. so if your too stupid to heed yahoo's warning about commish it is thier fault ? come one ... open your eyes you choose to play in a league yahoo warned you about .. DUH !
It's simple, don't play in private leagues where you can't trust commish. Stick with public leagues.
I run a private league for some friends.... I am the commish, and have had to make a few legit changes this season due to down internet connection, and another person who was called away on military duty, and did not have access to the internet.
In a league ran by someone that is legit, it is a HELP to have the commish tools.

Thank you. That's what I've been trying to tell Pauly but he's a nut. He's just mad about losing this year and needs someone to blame it on. Who else but the commish right. I too was the commish this year and have had to make legit changes for others. Those tools are good and beneficial for the league as a whole. Don't play with people you don't trust. I lost my championship this year by 2 points, you don't see me griping that rules need to be changed. Go back to bed Pauly, stop hammering everyone else's posts.
I hate to rin on your parade, but why will they care. We get the Fantasy Football for free, it doesn't really matter to them. They might change the non-free leauge, but for cheap bastards like me it wont make a difference. I will help by E-mailing, but I do'nt think that it will help.
