    KEEPER LEAGUE QUESTION!???!!!!!???!!

anyone out there with keeper league experience?

I am the league commish for a first year keeper league. Can somebody tell me how injuries are typically handled in keeper leagues?

The scenario is that the owner of Ronnie Brown dropped him after his injury and another player with roster space picked him up with intentions to hold him until next season. The original owner is saying that this is BS and that these players (once they hit IR) are protected.

Does anyone know what is standard for a keeper league????

    • there are no IR spots in standard leagues.

you as the commish have to make an IR list in the commish notes if you guys want to do this. if it wasnt agreed upon before hand then the manager has no rights to hold onto ronnie brown.

we made the IR list before the season started. just something you have to anticipate. each team has one IR spot. the IR spot is like the NFL IR. the player is ruled out for the rest of the season and cannot be picked up by anyone.

its your choice if you want to make the IR list and give back the player that the manager dropped for ronnie brown.

    • I believe trhe player is indeed protected.
