Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
would you give up Rizzo and Gallo for Goldy?
its a 14 team dynasty league, h2h, def out of contention this year
C- Rosario, Ramos
1B- Rizzo, Hosmer
2B- Carpenter, Gyorko, Lawrie
SS- Segura, Guerrero, Correa
3B- Castellanos, Gallo
OF- Taveras, Betts, Myers, Springer
SP- Teheran, Cole, Paxton, Giolito, Ventura, Stroman, Roark, Tillman, Gray, Heaney, Archer
RP- Giles, Jansen, Janssen, Storen, Simmons, Smith, Martinez, Shaw
I would do that , goldy is the better player , better avg. more xbh , steals a few bases , more rbi. considering you're out of it it's a great deal going into next yr. just trade another player to cover 3b and you'll be set. goldy is gold.
help with my post , thnx.
Nope... it really doesn't make your team better to simply swap top performing 1Bmen (and you get the injured one, lol) and give away top 3B prospect on top of it. It's a lateral move at best. If you're absolutely out of contention what you really want to do is deal to contender in need for useful pieces... not look for the blockbuster unless offered it as it likely would not be accepted unless you are on the losing end. If the guy who has Goldy is in contention and really needs a 1Bman... you hold the advantage... you should be receiving the additional valuable player, not him. Nobody is going to sell the farm to you, but you might bag a steal if you play your cards right.
