Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
With the trade deadline coming up, I am happy with my team right now as I am Currently sitting 4th, but .5 games out of leading my division, and I have been catching people on their good weeks. I am trying to decide if I should try to upgrade a bat some where or try for one more ace or just stay put. Any suggestions or constructive feedback would be great.

Third base and second UTIL are mediocre. I would look to improve that. Pitching is thin as well. Drop Giles and if 'Castillo' isn't CASILLA then drop him. To be honest though, I don't know how you're going to improve these spots.... Maybe sell a guy like Stanton for Rios and Carpenter but it may not be worth it.

It is Casilla, I started typing and didn't catch it. Thanks for the feedback. I am not sure if it would be worth it to move a guy like Stanton to try to upgrade a couple of spots. I would consider dropping Giles, but there isn't a closer out there to get saves, and I don't really see much left in FA as far as starting pitching goes.
Bryan: Go Noles from Melbourne ,Fla., Man! 1) Well balanced team. 2) There's a case to be made to just hold,as is,here. 3) You'll be losing deGrom shortly to innings limit so you could say another good SP might be needed for playoffs. I'd hate to trade one of your offensive players for an SP,though. Also IF Wacha can be back before playoffs then you wouldn't need an SP replacement. 4) Pagan is back soon, possibly by Thursday. That'll make your bench even stronger also. IMO,Bryan, I'd stand put with what I have. .5 out of lead is great and easily attainable right now. And if your gaining ground on other leaders I wouldn't mess with a change. The only way I see a change here is if one of your major pieces gets hurt(Stanton,Gomez,Clayton,etc.). Good luck Bryan. See those Noles in Championship game again, bro!
