Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Let's talk about some of the really solid guys that always seem to help a fantasy team but never seem to get hype or credit in the fantasy world. Here is my all under-rated lineup, what is yours?
OF) Pence, Rios, Byrd
Just based on this season, disqualifying anyone ranked in top 150 at season start, here are my unsung heroes.
C - Lucroy
1B - Morneau
2B - Rendon or Dozier
SS - Gordon
3B - Frazier
LF - Brantley
CF - Blackmon
RF - Moss or Byrd
SP - Kazmir, Richards, Beckett, Hammel, Keuchel, Arrieta, Lohse, Hudson, Buehrle, Kluber (loads!)
RP - K-Rod, Street, Melancon, Hawkins, Davis
This is not exactly the intent of the OP, but still fun.
I like it, I'd throw Josh Harrison in there somewhere, he's been solid for a good month and a half and is only 43% owned, and even though everyone's back he's still likely going to get 3-4 starts per week and his position eligibility certainly helps
Nice. Below is the All-Time Underrated Team.
C - Todd Hundley
1B - Fred McGriff
2B - Mark Grudzielanek
SS - Edgar Renteria
3B - Matt Williams
OF - Jermaine Dye
OF - Paul O'neill
OF - David Justice
UT - Edgar Martinez
I think this Erick Aybar has to be on that list. He's available in nearly 40% of leagues yet he's having a very nice 5CAT season. Pedro Alvarez is another...he takes a lot of flack for all his low BA and the K's...but he's still likely to blast 30HR 100RBI.
