Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I get: Craig Kimbrel
I give: Prince Fielder
5x5 standard categories…3 year keeper league (you can only keep a given player for a max of 3 years)
I'm not allowed to keep Fielder into next season, but he clearly would…though if I accepted this deal, I very likely wouldn't keep Kimbrel into next year either. My 5 keepers for next year would likely be Goldschmidt, Donaldson, Gomez, Longoria, and Tanaka
Could always use Kimbrel's saves, though
Even swap or can I still do better for the Fat Prince?

I agree with the sister... do this deal man... you make your team better by dealing deadweight for a top Closer... don't let the keeper stuff cloud your objective to best position yourself to win as soon as possible.
only you can know if you can do better than kimbrel by sending out more trades. fielder will not gain trade value throughout the year, thats for sure. i would take kimbrel as you are not losing anything, and kimbrel will help any staff
If you are in a position to win now, I would definitely take that deal IF you need a closer. I'm not sure how big this league is, but I really don't think anyone would give up much more for him. Unless you want to re-draft him when he goes back into the pool, take the deal.
