    Archie Bradley or Noah Syndergaard

I have the the #1 waiver in a competitive keeper league. In our league, prospects are not eligible to be drafted or picked up on the waiver until they have made a major league appearance. My question all season has been to take Archie Bradley once he is called up by the dbacks, but Syndergaard is gaining some steam in the prospect circle. There is also Andrew Heaney to look at, but I think Bradley or Syndergaard are better options. What do you guys think? There is also a possibility I take Kris Bryant of the Cubs if he is called up, but that's not looking like the case if you've been keeping up with the Cubs' front office.

    • I'm familiar with all 3 pitching prospects. Know quite a bit about each of them, in fact. If you follow my daily fantasy baseball account on Twitter, @BetterthanBerry, I'll follow you back & send you my notes & thoughts in a direct message.

That said, there is a strong case to be made for waiting on Kris Bryant too.

    • agree with 2C%L. Take Heaney, he'll be up soon and has been great in minors. I don't think Bradley will get called up this year. Syndergaard not till August and hes got a hurt arm. Heaney is the only healthy one and is great in minors and will help you the most this year. Or you can grab Polanco which is a good move. Bryant wont be up this year. Baez wont either because hes playing bad I think

    • Out of the SPs ...I think Heaney is the best play. He's been money in the minors and is likely up first. Syndergaard might be more highly regarded but his arm soreness is of concern as to when he'll be up and how effective he'll be. Bradley is also highly regarded, but would be pitching in a hitter's park in a tougher division.
