Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Ok, I posted before and you guys said I can do better. Here is going to be my counter. Too much?
everyone should value trout as the top player especially in keeper/dynasty formats, but that doesnt mean he will finish as the top player this year. its not like he did last year. this isnt basketball where lebron and durant are always the best, this is baseball. and breakout years and career years usually end up being the most valuable for fantasy owners. i would need to see your team before saying yes or no to this trade but i think you are giving up too much power in one trade
looks good to me dude... good value for both sides... however I wonder if you could actually get more for what you;re giving up to another owner by adding more quality players across the board... Obviously Trout is #1 in fantasy, but you are giving away a ton yourself... I bet Stanton or EE alone could net you a quality arm and a good bat in return from another or 2 quality arms for that matter. As far as Trout goes, no arguing his greatness, but keep in mind part of his value comes from his ability to steal bases, and he hurt his hammy this and his speed on the basepaths has been in question by some.
