How much longer can Chi keep Kris Bryant at AA?? The kid is destroying the ball right now. Either move him up to AAA for some kind of challenge or promote him to the majors. The last 10 games the kid is hitting almost 500 with 5 hrs 11rbis OBP of 610 with a slg % 1.097. I'm glad i got this kid in my Dynasty league
Look for him to hopefully get a call to AAA soon, but I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't see time in the big leagues this year until the rosters expand in September.
Next year, I'm sure he'll be starting at 3B or a corner outfield spot, but until then, I'd say September is when he'll be here.
Good thing for the Cubs is Baez is starting to turn things around at AAA now, so hopefully by the time September and such rolls around he'll be ready for his cup of tea.
He's striking out 27% of the time and has made 10 errors in 50 games. Probably he can hit now in the big leagues, but there are still a few things for him to work on and the cubs aren't in any rush to promote him and start the clock.

I agree I believe he leads the league in K's but he still has a 451o to go along with his 347avg. That's impressive for a power hitter. If he learned some plate discipline it would be nice but I don't I think offensively he is ready. No point wasting him hitting 300/45/130 in the minors for the year. The cubs could use a spark. I understand the concern with defense but I'm looking at him from a fantasy perspective.
He is walking at a solid rate too though, so that helps offset some of the strikeouts, and for being a big power hitter he is going to strikeout some, though that rate probably does need to come down some.
Last time I looked Olt was hitting something like .179. Keeping the kid at AA seems useless. It's not like he's 21. I have Bryant on NA and I'm hoping that the Cubs give him a shot pretty soon and bypass AAA. That's not the scuttlebutt though.
Justin: Your correct on him at AA. Word being thrown around is possible move to AAA. Speculation was maybe see him with Cubs later on in season for a test drive. Seems Cubs don't like to rush prospects quickly or we would have seen at least Barney gone by now. You never know on Bryant but supposedly he's the cubs most Major League ready prospect even over Baez. Just spitting out what I've read on numerous sites lately.
