    HELP!!! PLEASE!!!

My team has been banged up but players are starting to get healthy and two weeks ago it was a struggle to put a productive lineup together, fast forward to today and I now have a flexible lineup with some options. I really need to make a trade particularly for an outfielder, any and all advice needed and welcome. I am currently in 6th place in a 6x6 10 team roto league. I have one of the top pitching staffs in the league which gives me some trade pieces. This is my current lineup.

    C- Yadier Molina
    1B- Mark Teixeira
    2B- Jason Kippnis
    3B- Evan Longoria
    SS- Alexei Ramirez
OF- Raja Davis, Yoenis Cespesdes, Angel Pagan
    Uti- Neil Walker, Jimmy Rollins
    BN- Juan Lagares, Howie Kendrick
    DL- Bryce Harper

SP- Yu Darvish, Masahiro Tanaka, Sonny Gray, Anibal Sanchez, Mark Buehrle, Dallas Kuechel
RP- Joakim Soria, Sergio Romo, Mark Melancon, Casey Janssen, Dellin Betances
    DL- Michael Pineda

Any advice on what type of move I should be looking to make is welcome. I can take the heat

    • Lagares is going to do nothing for you; there isn't even much in his minor league history to suggest that he's going to break out. I think dropping him affords you a great opportunity to open up a spot for a more productive player. Maybe you grab Viciedo, who's only two years removed from a 25hr season. Maybe Granderson is available in your league - that might sound like a stretch, but he's been available at various points in my 12 team league because no one can trust him. I don't like a lot of his numbers (and I just dropped him myself), but I think he'd be more productive for you than Lagares.

Basically, though, I agree with Jigga. Walker, Rollins, and Kendrick are all good, startable middle infielders, but you need bigger bats when it comes to utility.

      • I wonder if you could package Buehrle plus Walker or Rollins or Kendrick for an outfielder. Maybe there's a team who really needs a 2b; you've got a couple to spare.

I'd also suggest maybe stashing Jon Singleton in the Astros' system, if you can clear a roster spot. In 49 games at AAA he's batting .272 with 13 home runs, and the Astros have said he's "on deck" for when they need to call up another player. I've read that he could be a solid producer pretty quickly once he comes up.

    • Stop playing middle infielders at utility and get some better OFs
