Shane Victorino OF - 2013 stats: 82R 15HR 61RBI 21SB .294BA
My OF: N Cruz, Bonifacio, T Hunter UTIL A Soriano UTIL P Alvarez BN Springer OF DL Victorino
Closers: Balfour, Cishek, Rodney, Lindstrom
SP: Lackey, Greinke, Smyly, Shields, Anibal Sanchez, Yordano, Wheeler, Wily Peralta
Victorino should be back in the Boston lineup next Thursday. So I'm thinking I will evaluate Springer vs Bonifacio over the next week and maybe drop one (but I'd really like to keep both of them). OR, drop Lindstrom when Victorino comes back since Lindstrom would be my weakest closer. OR, Smyly may also be dropable since he may be a spot starter. What would you do?
I'd love to drop Lindstrom too but while Ventura still says he's the closer you can't do that. If you want to use Victorino than your drop is Bonifacio. Too many of that type hitters is no good. I see you also have my problem of the high power low average OF with both Cruz and Soriano.

If I drop Bonifacio I lose a lot of steals - almost half. My only real SB guys are Kipnis (30) & Segura (44). Soriano (18) Victorino (21). I doubt the Yanks will let Soriano run this year...he's too old and they need his bat. Victorino is coming off a hammy - so he might not get 20 either. Boni will probably steal 40+. I've got Trumbo at 1B. Miggy at 3B. So I don't worry about AVG. I think I can get by with 3 closers more than I could get by without Bonifacio.
