Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I have to pick 7 keepers for this year. Its a 12 team mixed. Stats: H,R,HR,RBI,SB,BB,AVG and W, CG, SC, K, ERA, WHIP, QS
Choices: (keep 7)
You've got lots of work to do SD or it's going to be a very quiet summer. I'd keep Freeman, Upton and Fernandez for myself. I would then pick the next 4 based on their trade value as you ought to start planning for the future right about now. The next 4 would then be Bautista, Kemp, Phillips and Hamilton (only because if he steals five bases on opening day you will be able to trade him to someone who believes in him).
That's your team?
Those are your best players?
That is all you came up with in a 12 team league?
That looks like the leftovers from a 25 team league with 30 player rosters.
How do you manage to have just one plausible keeper in a 12 team league?
given your settings, i would exclude weaver, bucholz for sure...then i would say for me it's between hamilton and simmons....i think i would probably lean toward throwing back weaver, bucholz, and simmons.
Fernandez, Kemp, Freeman, Upton, Bats are the easy ones. Hamilton just cuz where hes ranked, you can get some sucker to pay a ton for him. Final spot Id go Phillips, the dude will drive in 100 as a 2B, that's real good
