Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
So I won my league this year and looking ahead, I have some tough decisions on keepers. 12 team H2H league with batting categories of R, H, 2b, 3b, HR RBI, SB, AVG, OBP, TB and pitching categories W, CG, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, K/9. Keep 6 players out of the following:
C- Victor Martinez
1b- Paul Goldschmidt
2b- Ian Kinsler
SS- Hanley Ramirez
3b- Chris Johnson
OF- Jacoby Ellsbury
OF- Allen Craig
OF- Desmond Jennings
OF- Yeonis Cespedes
OF/Util- Jayson Werth
!b- Anthony Rizzo
SP- Max Scherzer
SP- Cole Hamels
SP- Gerrit Cole
RP- Kenley Jensen
RP- Greg Holland
P- Michael Wacha
P- Joe Kelly
P- Justin Masterson
P- Kris Medlen
P- Lance Lynn
P- Jeff Samardjia
P- Tony Cingrani
P- Chris Archer
So much young pitching talent I don't know what to do. Input is appreciated.
You have 10 hitting categories and 7 pitching categories.
Unless you are stupid...you keep your 6 best hitters and keep zero pitchers.
Half of your best pitchers were FAs at the end of April last year. The same thing will happen this season too (it always does). The same can't be said for your best bats.
You keep Goldschmidt, Kinsler, Ramirez, Ellsbury, Craig, and Werth.
Am I the only one that thinks Hamles still has some left in the tank? I'd keep Goldy, Hanley, Ellsbury, Scherzer, Hamels, and Kinsler just barely beats out Craig for the final spot, simply because of positional depth at 1B. Seriously have you ever tried to pick up a starting 2B off the wire? NO FUN!
