Trade 1: I give Posey and Kershaw, I get Goldschmidt and Gallardo
Trade 2: I give Wainwright and Posey, I get Chris Davis
Do both of these work for me considering the number of keepers we keep or does 1 work better than the other?
My team below has about 8 or so keeper possibilities (Posey, Wainwright, Kershaw, Pedroia, Miggy, Machado, McCutchen, Bruce)
10 teams Roto, 6 keepers, 5x5(OBP replaces AVG) -
(* denotes potential keepers)
C - Posey*
1B - AGon
2B - Pedroia*
SS - Desmond
3B - Miguel Cabrera*
OF - Cutch*
OF - Gardner
Util - Cuddyer
Util - Machado*
B - J Castro
B - Fowler
B - Belt
B - De Aza
SP - Kershaw*, Sale, Wainwright*, A Sanchez, G. Gonzalez, Wheeler
CP - Balfour, R Soriano, Romo, Grilli
Both those trades suck.
You keep Desmond over Bruce.
You trade Machado to get a 1B keeper (like Goldschmidt).
With 6 keepers you should keep a 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF and SP.
There is not really much of a difference between Jason Castro and Buster Posey so you really shouldn't keep a catcher if you have Kershaw on your team. Keeping Bruce is just plain stupid.
Id take the Davis deal and keep Sale
