Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I wasn't able to make any last minute deals. Any suggestions for how to improve pitching through FA pickups and callups would be appreciated. I don't necessarily need to keep all these SP but I like the idea of stockpiling and going with whoever is hot before the playoffs.
SP Sonny Gray
Cingrani is moving to the bullpen when Cueto returns.
Miller may be shut down.
Moore may be shut down.
Haren is not worth owning.
Salazer may be shut down.
Gray is not worth owning.
10 SPs is way too many SPs to own.

Hey Mr. I know everything #$%$ k Cingrani wont move to the bullpen because Cueto hasn't even touched a ball yet. Miller wont be shut down during a playoff race considering carpenter and Garcia have made little progress I agree on haren who knew you would get 1.no comment on Salazar Moore wont be shut down he is just coming back in around 9 days or so and gray has pitched great since his callup....all in all ur an idiot...o and I saw your awesome lineup from another post its either madeup or your in a 4 man league
So basically what you're saying is my team as cancer and it's going to die?
Ha, I mean you're right about Cingrani but I dunno about the rest. There is no evidence that Moore will be shutdown. The Rays are taking extra precaution in his rehab but they are in a playoff run and there isn't an obvious reason to cap his innings. He's no longer a kid. And there is also no evidence that his injury is worse than what we've been told, unless you know of something? Miller is more likely to be shutdown, but we still have not heard if or when. And it's possible he'll just be used sparingly like Salazar, dropped him today after learning about this.
Haren has pitched very well lately. He's only given up more than 2 earned runs once in his last 7 starts, and in that time he's had close to a 1.00 WHIP and struck out 6-7 batters in pretty much every start. If a player is doing that well, why wouldn't you own him? Especially when he plays in an easy division and has a track record of success.
And far too early to say Gray is not worth owning. What has he done but dazzle since he's been up? I wouldn't hesitate to drop him if he craps it up tmrw but will you be saying the same thing if he looks electric?
I actually like what you have. I wouldn't make any changes. I think Verlander & Gio are going to be great going down the stretch. The rest should help you do well. If someone else gets hot, I would drop Salazar or Gray first before anyone else.
Please answer my post regarding feedback for the two trade offers. Thanks!
