kris medlen, matt garza, or jose fernandez?

i have medlen, but garza and fernandez are pretty damn hot right now. i was also thinking about dropping matt cain for either of those two, but not sure on that one......cain is just frustrating me right now.

    • you would think with hudson going down the braves rotation wont be in flux so medlen should continue starting i believe. medlen is the safest of the group in my opinion but garza and fernandez should be owned as long as they are pitching well. and i figure if those guys are available then there will probably be good guys available if those guys start to struggle. hard to own a guy like cain with an era of 5 when allstar pitchers like fernandez are available

    • I like Garza, Ferandez, Medlen in that order. Garza's ERA and WHIP may go up a little bit in Arlington, but he's pitching great and is bound to rack up some wins. Remember that Wrigley is the most hitter friendly park this year, so while the competition is stiffer and the air is hotter in Texas, I think Garza will be okay.

Fernandez is a stud, but you can't count on his team to get him wins and he is heading for a shutdown.

Medlen is just a mess. Drop him.

    • stick with Cain for now. I like Fernandez the most even though he plays on the worst team at least until he gets shut down, whenever that will be. he has the best stuff (96 mph FB, wicked breaking stuff). Garza enters an unfriendly pitchers park, and I can see his ERA enter the high 3's or low 4's easily. Medlen may be relegated to a RP once Beachy comes back
