Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
11 team roto keeper league with R, AVG, OBP, HR, RBI and SB as the hitting stats. I wont list pitching stats since no pitchers are involved.
My team is-
1B- Edwin Encarnacion
2B- Matty Carpenter
SS- Jean Segura
OF- Ben Zobrist
UTL- Billy Butler
UTL- Brett Gardner
Bench-Prado and Leonys Martin
I have 8 out of 11 points in HR, 3 in RBI, 11 in RUNS, 3 in SB and 8 in AVG and OBP.
I GET- Chris Davis
Other guy gets- Jean Segura
I have Zobrist who is SS eligible playing OF so I would be able to move him to SS and put C. Davis in my OF but I dont know if I should trade such a valuable young keeper who plays such a shallow position. Davis will surely help me out a lot in HR, RBI and most likely give me a nice boost in OBP.
What do u think??

Not really at all. Yeah he's more valuable being played at SS but he's still a top 60-70 guy regardless. His stats over the last 4 years have been great and he's most definitely a great #2 OF. Just look at his stats from the last 4 years.
I did accept the DAvis trade tho so now Zobrist will be playing SS.
Chris Davis isn't really an upgrade over E5 (Mr. Encarnacion).
E5 is more proven than Davis.
Segura is younger than both and provides 5 category contributions.
Trading Segura for Davis in any league is stupidity and in a keeper league it is stupidity squared.
Davis really broke out last year, so this year is just a validation of that. He's still young (just hit his prime years) and plays in a stadium conducive to his swing. He's going to continue being a stud. While Segura does play a premium position, he is historically injury prone in the minors so there's always that threat. Given your team, I think getting the additional power/RBI in Davis is a plus and would allow you flexibility to sell off another player to get some cheap steals (looking at you Eric Young Jr...). So long story short, I'd take that deal.
