Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I have one team I've neglected for a little while now that needs some fixing. I had been rolling with Reynolds for most of the season but it's to the point I HAVE to look elsewhere. It's looking very thin on the FA front so who would be the best drop or trade candidate? My pitching is a mess as well. Here's my line-up..
OF- Batista, Jackson, J. Upton
Util- A. Dunn, Leonys Martin
BN- A. LaRoche, Castro
SP- Lynn, Ryu, Fernandez, Pettitte, Gallardo, Kennedy, Feldman
RP- Chapman, Soriano, Perez, Putz
I'd look at a two for three type of trade that would maybe downgrade an individual position for you but add depth and be beneficial in total. Your biggest strength is OF and 2B and look to trade away those spots. See if you can find a team with a nice second basemen like Phillips or Kinsler who also is a little thin in OF and hopefully has a ltitle depth at SS and/or 3B. Then form a package that makes sense for both teams. Offer them Cano in a package with one of your outfielders they need. In return get back their lesser but still quality 2B as well as upgrades for you 3B and SS.
I obviously don't know your leagues rosters, but maybe something like Cano/Bautista for Kinsler/Tulo/Zimmerman
Answer my "I have Segura, Reyes, and Tulo. Help me trade." post please.

Dunn I'm taking over most guys right now. He's been better than Upton and Bautista the last month or so. I figure I'll give Putz until the break and see what they do with him. Best FA 3B options are M.Young, Rendon, C.Johnson, Plouffe... SP's are just a streaming options right now. Dempster, Skaggs, Pettibone, and some other random's are about it right now.
