Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Is this a good trade for me?
I get: Troy Tulowitski, Grant Belfour, Matt Cain
I give: Ryan Braun, Pablo Sandoval, Fernando Rodney
I'm trying to get rid of Braun, just in case he gets suspended, and Pablo Sandoval is guranteed to get injured so trying to trade him while healthy. How is this trade?
This is a 10 team h2h league. Standard Category.

While I think it's a fairly decent trade, I do agree with a poster that mentioned how Tulo's a higher injury risk/as high as an injury risk as Sandoval. While Cain would be giving an upgrade for your starting pitching, I think your offence is already good enough as is with good depth.
Helll naw. Segura is a great SS. Why would u trade for a SS when u have the best SS in the biz?? The way I break down that trade is Braun is better than Tulo. Sandoval and Cain are about even. Rodney is better than Balfour. Yeah I know Rodney has been erratic at times but he's looked good lately and when he's on, he's one of the best closers in baseball. Balfour is safer but the upside with Rodney is worth the risk.

I agree with killa croc, his breakdown is solid. I've learned over the years not to overreact to information like the PED thing. The trade is pretty close so if you really believe it will happen then go ahead, but I believe you are getting the worse end of the trade.
