Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Im trying to go after Cano, but the managers is playing hard to get (understandably). He has incentive to trade him though because due to our keepers rule Cano will hit the draft at the end of the season.
Im in the same boat with AGON.
He wants AGON, Fowler, and Pence. I thought that seemed a little steep. But im willing to part with a couple OF to clear up some space since im stacked in that position. Who would you offer up?
Although im currently sitting in 1st place and im in no rush to break up my squad. BUT having Cano for the next 3 years with Miggy and Puig is mighty tempting.
All that just for one player is too much for me....It's possible that Puig turns into this years Trout, but we only have a small sample. Adam Jones is a keeper in my head as well so that would weigh on my decision. If he's playing hard to get play even harder. If he has to lose Cano let him come to you (play harder to get). And if you're in 1st place now who knows what kind of injuries my affect you before the deadline....you seem highly likely you're gonna part AGON so do it players you'll need for you're playoff run!!
Cano is good and I think Agon/Pence/Fowler for Cano is a little too much. Maybe try to get a SP back, lower teir or injured one. And I know Puig is good and gifted talent but comon the dude has played for 2 weeks. Take Jones as a keeper instead
