Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Is he relevant in a twelve team mixed H2H league? He had a pretty impressive first game despite getting no hits against CC so I took a shot on him. Hasn't done much since and the K's are start piling up. Was one of just two guys in the Sox lineup today who did absolutely nothing and he is still hitting 8th. Would you dump him for someone else?
Those are some guys available. I need some speed off the bench so I would lean towards Stubbs despite his awful average and K's. Does Bradley even have speed? Is he a SB threat?
I dumped Bradley for the As' Chris Young in my 14 team league..
I also have Parra;I won 16 - 4 last week, but I'm just looking for hot bats until HanRam & Grandy come back..I'd take Parra from that list; But then again,my league counts Ks against hitters, which is why I'd never want Stubbs!
I believe Bradley is supposed to be something of a speed threat, but the Sox really have him up for his defense. His spring training stats were a nice surprise for everyone, and those stats combined with the Sox starting him in the majors I think got fantasy owners a bit over-excited. Stubbs is probably a better (::shudder::) long term speed solution, but I might pick up Parra and ride his production for now. For what it's worth I think this is the year Dom Brown finally starts to produce consistently.
