Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
12 Team ROTO DYNASTY
Im looking to offer:
I Get- Votto
I Give- F.Freeman, Holliday, Fister
Im just looking to solidify my starters. I won the league last yr and feel i have the depth to make a move like this but is it worth it? and is it enough?
My OF if the trade were to go through is Cutch,CarGo,BJ Upton, Dunn. SP's - D.Price, Wainwright, Gallardo, Shields.
In a 12 team mixed you do that deal. Your OF is still strong without Holliday and Fister is replaceable as mentioned before. Always try to get the best player in the trade, and in anything less than a 15 team mixed you are stealing Votto. Freeman is a nice player, but he isn't Votto and likely never will be.
getting votto in a dynasty would be great. i like freeman but he'll never be the difference maker that votto is. holliday is being overlooked this year in my opinion but you have some solid outfielders in cargo and cutch already. fister is very replaceable
I personally wouldn't do it. Freeman will give you 20-25 HR's 80-100 RBIs, Holliday will give you that again and Fister is a solid pitcher. I'd do Votto for Fister and Holliday maybe but you're giving up a lot adding in Freeman. That Braves lineup is going to score a lot of runs and Freeman will be a big part of it.

Nobody in their right mind would do Fister/Freeman for Votto.
As far as the original offer of F.Freeman, Holliday, Fister, if I own Votto, I wouldn't do that. I'd have to expect upgrading with younger talent not older. Freeman fits that but not the upside I'd be looking for.
