Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
McCutchen I think will have a phenomenal year. I would guess he's going to hit .320 and go at least 30 HR 100 RBI 100 R 30 SB. Those all around stats are really hard to overcome, and I'm not sure he will make it to 9th pick. I've seen him go for 5 or 6 in mock drafts.
I personally would pick McCutchen over Votto over Pujols over Cargo over Fielder. Votto will hit .300 and hit 40 HR and 110 RBI, but he doesn't do much else. I also think Pujols is looking for a monster year since he has finally set into his role in LA, and all the focus will be on Trout to start. Cargo is a very underrated player, but was injury prone last season. I expect him to go 2nd or 3rd round. I'm not a big Fielder fan, I can't see him hitting for average again this year, not to mention 0 SBs probably.
Most likely is easily Cutch and cargo due to the speed- Little know fact that last yr only 1 1b finished in top 24 overall and that was encarnarcion who was drafted after rd 10 in almost every draft possible- The 1b;s have very safe floors but will almost certainly not outproduce the top 9 statically speaking yr in yr out- Saying all that id still pick Albert to have that safe fllor first-
