Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
A player in my league wants Cano. I think I need help in a couple spots. Heres my squad...
If I entertain the idea of trading Cano, and based on this team, I'm thinking of asking for Billy Butler, Aaron Hill and David Price. I'd try to package Cano with others. I'd like to be able to replace Cano with another 2B, add a 1B (I feel I need one) and a top end SP. Thoughts?? thanks
Make the trade large & complicated..
I think you need less offensive bench warmers, and more/better SPs;So,I'd throw in Youk,Aramis,Cain, and Lester (I'm worried about Lester, but I'd bank on him having good name trade value.) for Hill,Price,Butler, your opponents' other best SP,and your opponents' 1st round draft pick.
Cano is in a contract year,so I'd want a kings' ransom for him.
I think you need at least 1 more SP,and 1 less offensive bench warmer. So,asking for 2 SPs,and giving away 1 is a good way to do that;Especially if you've lost faith in Lester,as I have.
And,the larger & more complicated the trade the better because it tends to confuse inexperienced managers.
