$280 cap salaries go up $ 3 a year
Stanton @ $33
Bryce @ $18
Heyward @ $14
Leaning towards Harper and Heyward. Is Stanton going to live up to a $33 pricetag this year? 36 next?
I like the price for Bryce and Heyward. You're looking at 2for1 and they are HR/RBIS/SBs players. In the end you will find out just what Stanton is worth...maybe you can buy him for less than $36...Maybe somebody pays $45+ for him. When it comes to value on money Bryce and Heyward are uprisers and should exceed the price you pay for them.
with nobody else in the Marlins Line-up I think he is going to be pitched around alot more I don`t see the same type of production as last year I would keep Heyward and Harper they are more 5 tool type players
Stanton missed 40 games last year. In a full year I'd expect 45 HRs. League leader in HRs is well worth that price. Heyward is closer to a 25HR guy, is probably gonna hit 2nd, and last year was a career year for him in SBs. Let someone else overpay for Heyward in the draft.
That's a toughie. I think Stanton is worth $33 and even $36 or $39, but he also is very close to his career ceiling right now. Harper and Heyward both have significant upside on both performance and value relative to their current price, so yeah, probably go with them.
