Keeper debate
Should I keep Ian Desmond and give up the 200th overall pick OR keep Adam Jones and give up the 74th overall pick? There are a lot of good OF's and not too many good SS's.

Jones. Desmond is gonna lose his nice spot in the lineup this year. He's gonna hit between Werth and Espinosa. You could probably redraft him much easier than Jones if you really want him back badly enough.

It really would depend on what else you are keeping the #200 pick as far as draft value is great for a 20-20 type SS

Im keeping Chase Headley for the 180th pick and Kris Medlen for the 190th pick. Only three keeper so the 3rd is between the top above.

I think I like Jones. Don't see any reason why he can't repeat his numbers from last year or improve upon them.
-
Jones no doubt. Desmond has all the signs of a luck filled season that is the peak of his abilities for stats.
Jones on the other hand can still grow on his numbers. I think you're underestimating the number of quality SSs suddenly in the Majors. Not to mention forthcoming in to the Majors. Desmond will be around to pick again beyond 100. Jones? He'll be gone by 30. Since it's a Keeper league you're looking at 1/2nd round then.
Okay, Maybe not....Desmond just went 31st in a mock on ESPN. Wow. 1 pick ahead of Jones lol.....I give up- 1 Reply to BrewCrewDue

Look at the current ADP of Jones and Desmond:
Jones: Pick 74 would be Average pick is 38.4 and average Round is 3.9 .
Desmond: Pick 200 would be mid 16th round. Yahoo Average pick is 71.6 and average Round is 6.7.
I would have to believe that the gain with Jones as he begins to peak as I doubt you could get him back in your redraft any cheaper. I think you can #$%$ a SS somewhere along the way fill the hole.

both are solid options but id go with desmond
