Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
We lose the round they were originally drafted in at the beginning unless they weren't kept in a previous year and then that round? Keep 5? Which ones? Pitching is only 1250 innings so starters count quite a bit.
Ryan, i think Clayton Kershaw is a must keep as a 3rd rounder. then i think Cespedes is excellent value for round 14. next up i like Madison Bumgarner in the 5th round. Grienke is probably my next choice to keep now that he is back in the NL and has a loaded Dodgers lineup behind him, could be a 20 win season for him. that leaves one more player, and its seemingly between Pujols and Longoria, and based on position, i think keeping the 3b Longoria is the better deal. then you can keep your 1st round pick. - hawkfantasysports
With the innings cap it makes star p that much more valuable. Keep Kershaw, Greine, and Bumgarner. Out of 1250 ip you have 600-700 of guys with high k,era, and whip ratios so even with avg production the rest of the way you will be hard to beat. Then for the other two take Pujols and Cespedes or Phillips or Ortiz (Phillips if you have an IF slot, or Ortiz if OBPS otherwise Cespedes simply because of upside.)
