Um... I don't know. Machado can play SS right now, so that's a pretty big boost. I know there was a lot of hype surrounding Lawrie at one point, and there's a lot of hype surrounding the Blue Jays right now, but let's be realistic. At this point, Lawrie is a post-hype. Bautista's stats have been going down for a couple years now. That lot of big players that they got, yeah, those guys failed miserably in Miami last year, remember? Machado came into the league really young and handled himself pretty well last year. I mean, we've seen a few years of Lawrie and it hasn't been anything spectacular. Now, I'm not saying that he couldn't break out. He's still got potential. But, why not give the younger kid a chance?
