Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I'm in a 12-team 7x7 H2H keeper league where we keep three players per year. There is a round value on the keepers depending on the round you drafted them in during the previous season. I have four options as keepers, so I'm looking for thoughts on which 3 of the 4 to keep based on the round I can keep them in. The are as follows:
Pujols - Round 2
Hamilton - Round 3 (or 2 if I don't keep Pujols)
Bautista - Round 4 (or 3 if I don't keep Hamilton)
Granderson - Round 7
Thanks for the comments.
I'd like to know how many teams are in your league; To know how long each round is.Because Pujols is a great round 2 keeper if you have more then 8,or so teams in your league.
I actually like Granderson better then Hamilton,if you factor in the round differential.I mean, look how Pujols did when he moved to L.A..He was terrible.Plus with the pressure of a huge contract, and L.A.s' swarm of media hounds,it all may be too much for Josh, and he may go back to drinking.I hope he doesn't,but he's worthless when he drinks alcohol.
So,I'd keep Pujols,Bautiista, and Granderson..And possibly redraft Hamilton.Because he COULD thrive in that loaded offense..Hamilton just isn't a sure thing in my opinion.

Thanks for the input. I'm in a 12-team league, and this is the 3rd year of the league after we decided to make it a keeper league. I'm strongly leaning to keep Pujols, Bautista, and Granderson. Granderson kills you in average, but since I'm in a H2H league, my strategy has typically been to punt the average category (have been pretty successful in doing this). I just think there is too much value with Granderson in the 7th, so again, that's the way I'm leaning. I appreciate any other thoughts on this as well.
