    Hi guys,

    Here are my 8 keepers for next year, at least I think so? 2 Util spots so Miggy would go there.

    Votto
    Kinsler
    Longoria
    Miguel Cabrera
    Justin Upton
    Granderson

    Felix
    Wainwright

    Now, on paper, I don't think I even need to engage in trade talks. However, with 2 elite 3b's in Longo and Cabrera, I am looking to see if I can still improve. The following deals have been proposed to me. Any thoughts on them?

    Kershaw for Justin Upton

    Kershaw and Yoenis Cespedes for Longoria

    Kershaw and Braun for Upton, Longoria, and a 9th round and 13th round pick (1st round and 4th round in our keeper draft)

    I guess the only reason I would be doing these is because of my lack of faith in Wainwright to be the true #2. What do you guys think?

      Oops misread that! I was thinking you were dealing with an owner who values Bats way more than pitchers. I can't agree to the deal losing the 1st and 4th. I can agree at all losing your first as you don't know the draft position yet. If you were top 3 and then bottom 3 in 2nd rd that is a huge hurt. Maybe you can ask for it to be conditioned where you get bottom 1st rd top 4th rd to him. Or bottom 2nd top 3rd to him.

      Man it just hard to pass on a top 5 of Miggy,Braun,Votto,Kershaw,Felix. Of course if Upton plays to 2011 and surrounded by better lineup now in Atl, he has a good opportunity too, he rounds out a good Keeper w/o Braun adding Kershaw. And Cespedes proving he has staying power I have to lose Longo for Kershaw and Yoenis.

      I would hate to give up a young and still not peaked Upton. But I'm all for the Kersh...

      I would hate to give up a young and still not peaked Upton. But I'm all for the Kershaw/Cespedes for Long. He may have injuries and Ker alone for him is worth it. Take that deal and go and stay young with Ker and keeping Upton
