Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
It is a 20 team 5 player keeper league. 7x7 H2H stats with OBP and Hits for offense and WHIP and holds for pitchers.
This is my team, and I can only keep 5 players, but we can trade players for other players and/or draft picks.
Which guys should I trade and who should I try to go after in addition to which 5 keepers I should stick with? Any help/advice is appreciated.
I think it was a good trade, but I just did a trade of Matt Cain and an 8th round pick for Starlin Castro. Given what he can do at the fantasy level and his age, I think this was a huge trade, considering that I traded Ian Desmond for Cain. So, right now I am looking at Castro, Kipnis, Sabathia, Wainwright with a debate over CJ Wilson or Jennings. And I am leaning to Wilson, as I need quality pitching compared to quality hitting.

You said Hits and OBP so I don't see how you dont have Adrian Gonzo as your #1 Keeper much less whom you're debating for 5th? Gonzo raked in 2010/2011 and last year in a cancer of a team didn't. Now he will begin anew, back in LA. Gonzo will be back to raking again and who knows maybe even touch 40hr again?

Thanks, Would you believe I finished 19/20. H2H killed me last year with the matchups. I also figured with only keeping five if I should try to upgrade. Possibly a 2 or 3 for 1 in getting Matt Cain or something to that effect. What key guys should I try to go after since we can trade. If I can't keep them all, I might as well get something out of them before the draft.
