    Need some advice, I was talking with another manager about trades and Im trying to rebuild my team because I came in last last year. Do you think this would be a good trade for me: I would be trading Hosmer, Lincecum, Andrus for Adam Jones and Anthony Rizzo. Thanks in advance

      Btw i know my pitching is horrible and im trying to remedy that but people in my league hoard pitchers and overvalue players so its hard to get deals done

        to me, if hanley is still SS eligible, then it works...the other thing to think about is w...

        to me, if hanley is still SS eligible, then it works...the other thing to think about is what pitcher do you think lincecum will be going forward? if you can plug hanley in at SS (which im not sure on how your league decides this) and you dont have faith in Tim, then it is a good rebuilding move. Jones and Rizzo are both young stars that should have bright futures ahead of them. Every yr. there is plenty of talent that comes from no where on the pitching side. Good luck with your decision!

        i would do it, rizzo is only going to get better and hes something you can somewhat build ...

        I think you have a very nice team, I actually love it. I wouldn't make tat trade, but I would dump lincecum. I think you've got a real talented team in a couple more years. You drafted young ride it out and build on it.

      No, Andrus is very valuable, you can get a better prospect than Rizzo for him alone. Maybe you could pry away another SP, or you could just continue to try to get guys like Zack Wheeler or Tijuan Walker who should be in the player pool this year.

      I wouldn't do it, doesn't make sense. You don't really need the OF help so why trade for Adam Jones and Rizzo is nice but you already have a talented young 1B with Hosmer. Don't give up on Hosmer.
      I wouldn't mess with your infield, it's solid and with Myers your OF will be good too.

      You could use another SP, so if it were me I would focus on that, not adding a bat since you don't need them. You are pretty deep at 3B, which is great since 3B is going to be very shallow this season with Bautista and Encarnacion no longer having 3B eligibility. Use one of those 3B to add a SP.
