2013 Keepers: Position Scarcity vs Production
Having a hard time deciding on my keepers going into 2013. 12 team h2h, standard scoring except OBP is used instead of AVG (helps Cespedes a bit). Anyone can be kept, but at their original draft price (FA pick-ups cost only a last round pick). We keep 3 based on where they were drafted and I have an interesting group to choose from. Round the players can be kept in are in parentheses, if 2 are in the same round the second player is kept for a pick 1 round earlier (eg 21 and 20)
Aaron Hill (21), Ian Desmond (21), Yoenis Cespedes (17), Allen Craig (21), Chris Sale (14), Kris Medlen (21), Adam Jones (9), Anthony Rizzo (21), Clayton Kershaw (2)
All are good values. Hill and Desmond are borderline top 5 in scarce position but don't have the same pure production guys like Jones/Cespedes. Meanwhile SP and OF are deep positions and there are many players who will give me comparable production. And yes before you ask Kershaw is the only early round pick I would consider keeping. The rest were relative busts.
Right not I'm leaning towards Cespedes and Jones + Sale, Craig, or Desmond

That's the same format as my league. I would keep Jones for sure, Kershaw for sure, and decide between Sale ( but I think he will underproduce due to the many innings last year), Medlen, or Cespedes. I would lean toward Kershaw, Jones, and Medlen.

I don't like to keep pitchers and considering your league format, Cespedes, Desmond and Jones would be who I keep.
If you wanted to keep at least one pitcher, I would choose Medlen at 20, with Desmond at 21 and Cespedes.
