stanton, mike or otherwise, is on the verge of performing as a top fantasy batter, no matter what the marlins do he could be about 50 hr worth of good. the team that a player is on is as you note important but the player's intrinsic talent trumps that factor by a lot, there are only a few batters i would keep over stanton, you know them: trout, braun, miguel cabrera, maybe mccutchen, cano, longoria, votto, pujols and not much else. good luck, bob
