well, he has a power bat with 32 hr and 95 rbi in 2012. very noteworthy, he is at that age where many batters reach their full potential. i expect that he will be given a full time spot. he is eligible in yahoo at 3b, 1b and of, with 3b being a fairly shallow position and he is very tempting there. certainly, in a draft after the top 3b are taken i will be happy to get trumbo. good luck, bob

If I'm not mistaken, to meet Yahoo's criteria, at least 5 of his 8 appearances at 3rd will have to have been as a starter to keep eligibility for 3B. I'm looking at him too, with his multi position eligibility. I'm in a 16 team league, are there 16 better options at 3B?

Trumbo will be eligible at 1B & OF (LF & RF if your leagues breaks it down that way). As for as 3B goes he must have either started 5 games there or played in 10 games there. I am not sure he will qualify, but my guess is with 26 plate appearances as a 3B that he will be 3B eligible.
