    This is the guy that got beaned by a marlins pitcher in 2005. he is getting is one at bat on the 2nd against the mets, in a marlins uni. Being a cubs fan I'd love to pick him up for the novelty of it. Anyone know if this will be possible in Y! leagues?

        Thank you for your thoughtful response. Actually the reason I ask is that I was going to burn an add if I could without jeopardizing my teams that are in playoffs for novelty purposes. Jeez cant this fantasy stuff be fun anymore?

      Since he wasn't on the 40 man roster before the game, he will not be available. Yahoo (typically) only adds players once they're on a 40 man roster somewhere. Even then, they go on waivers first. Would Yahoo actually do it for someone that's likely to get just one at bat? Don't know. I suppose technically they have to, but if he's going to retire again right afterwards, that might just be extra paperwork to handle.

      Haha, hilarious. I once added a deep, deep, deep leaguer in a fantasy hockey league because he had the same name as me. I think the other managers got a kick out of it.
