Since he wasn't on the 40 man roster before the game, he will not be available. Yahoo (typically) only adds players once they're on a 40 man roster somewhere. Even then, they go on waivers first. Would Yahoo actually do it for someone that's likely to get just one at bat? Don't know. I suppose technically they have to, but if he's going to retire again right afterwards, that might just be extra paperwork to handle.
