I am tied with another guy for first at 163 saves. We both have 6 relievers. His have been getting more opportunities and this is the first time all season he has caught me. My relievers are Kimbrel, Frieri, Reed, Perkins, Holland, and Gregerson. Available are Bailey, W. Lopez, Cishek, Jv. Lopez. Should I swap any of these out? I was thinking of dropping Reed for Bailey, and maybe Holland for Cishek.

    • Before doing anything with your relievers, look to see how far ahead you are in saves over the guy in 3rd. 6 closers is overkill in a lot of leagues, especially if you can use the roster space to catch up in other categories. For example, if you're 20 saves ahead of the guy in 3rd, then fighting for 1st is a waste of time. You can lose, at most, 1 point there since the guy in 3rd will probably have a very hard time to catch you at this point in the season. If you can use 1 or 2 (maybe even 3) of the closer spots to gain in other categories, that's a much better use of your roster.

    • Bailey for Reed might be worthwhile but Id probably wait for one more appearance by Reed to see how he does.
