Does anyone know if he's going on the DL? I would expect he would miss some time. His slot is pretty crucial with the playoffs starting next week.

Teams don't use the DL as often in September because of the expanded rosters. I would drop McCarthy, though. Brain surgery isn't exactly something a guy recovers from in a week or two.
