    First Place Perspective

    Here is my situation:
-Normal 12 team league WITHOUT H2H or KEEPER
-I am in 2nd place with 102.5 points
-1st place has 110 points, he has been leading for almost all of the season, and I have been slowly catching up.
-My worst category is steals with only 5.5/12 points.
-With all trades combined (within last 2 months) I have traded away: Aramis Ramirez, Aviles, Lohse, Valverde, Justin Upton, C.J. Wilson
-I have receied...David Wright, Paul Goldschmidt, Chris Perez, Edinson Volquez, Jason Kipnis, and Matt Capps (DL)
    -My current team includes
    C....Buster Posey
    1B..Prince Fielder
    2B..Jason Kipnis
    3B..David Wright
    SS..Asdrubal Cabrera
    OF..Austin Jackson
    OF..Josh Willingham
    OF..Corey Hart
    UTIL.Paul Goldschmidt
    UTIL.Josh Rutledge
    B....Jonathon Lucroy
    B....Chase Utley
    B....Jason Werth
    B....Drew Stubbs

    SP...Jered Weaver
    SP...Cole Hamels
    RP...Craig Kimbrel
    RP...Chris Perez
    P.....Heath Bell
    P.....Mike Fiers
    P.....AJ Burnett
    P.....Matt Harvey
    B.....Edinson Volquez
    DL...Matt Capps

-Is my *new* team 1st place stuff?
-Where are the holes or bad spots in my team?
-Did my team improve after I made the trades?
THANKS TO ALL WHO ANSWER, and of the people who answer, I will respond to one of their topics!

    • Would it be a good idea to pick up Juan Pierre who has 27 SB and a .312 AVG? Start Pierre over Corey Hart for a couple weeks or even longer? I am 9/12 in HR and not close to 10. Although, I am 10 in RBI's but 10,11,12 are all within 10. Pierre barely has any RBIs. :( Would picking up Pierre be a good move or not?

    • Yeah I would agree that SS is your definite weakness. You are banking alot on Rutledge keeping up close to his current rate which I hope he does I own him as well but I'm not so sure. I would also sit Goldschmidt even though he hasn't been bad lately in place of Stubbs for now since you said you need SB's more so than power. Also as he posted I would straight up drop Heath Bell that guys a turd wrapped in hair. See if you can get a guy like maybe Rajai Davis is available? Just some sort of SB guy.

Also if you don't mind could you possibly take another look at my post? I add a bit more details and such in the comment.

    • I do think your trades have improved your team overall. Your weak spots are SS and sort of 2B unless Kipnis picks it back up (hopefully he will start swiping some bags for you again soon). You also have a weak spot with the name of Heath Bell. Totally worthless unless you love his name value. I'd try to trade him or just drop him for someone like Lopez or Holland. Also, I'd find a way to get Stubbs in your lineup right now while he's hot. He's one of the hottest guys on your roster in the last few weeks, so can't be benching him.

Also, do you really need a backup catcher? Maybe drop Lucroy for a SB guy on f/a.
