Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
12 team H2H non-keeper league.
My offense is stacked, but pitching SUCKS bad.
OF J Upton, A Gon, Bourn
UTIL Kipnis, S Castro
BN Morse, A Craig, Utley, Wieters
SP Beachy, A Sanchez, E Santana, J Garcia, Lilly
RP Bell, Broxton, Aceves, Axford
I Kershaw and Roy Halladay
and I give A Gon and Allen Craig.
Do I win? Is it fair?
In a league that shallow? Absolutely! I'm surprised this guy is willing to give up Kershaw to get an underperforming player at a stacked position (A-Gonz) and a guy who's been on the DL twice already this year (Craig). Who cares if Halladay is hurt? DL stash him and pick up someone else. I'm sure there are players putting up numbers better than Gonzo and at least as good as Craig on waivers.
Take the trade.
I'd do it. You can probably find good OF help on the wire. Kershaw isn't far off fro getting the deal done alone, if Halladay can comeback 100%, even 75% his former self it's a good deal for you. Try looking to see if Scott Hairston is on your wire.
I see you're from Osseo, I'm a Minnesota guy myself. From St. Paul, grew up playing against Mauer

Yeah, I know I need pitching bad, and I think that I could put Morse into the OF and Bautista once Longo is back. I am most worried about Halladay's injury and performance before this. Otherwise I would pull the trigger for sure.
Yeah, I've lived in MN almost my whole life, but have always been on the Minneapolis side of the river. Still support the Twins even though they make it really hard to do sometimes too...
