    • To be honest, if you can't compete in a ten team head to head league, the problem is you. You need to do more research and you need to gain fantasy league experience.

      • But the only way to gain experience is to dive in and play. Everyone was new to it at one point. Instead of sitting back with internet muscles criticizing strangers behind the comfort of a monitor people on this message board should offer constructive critiques. (I wasn't referring to you Jeff, I was more commenting on the rude posts earlier in the thread.)

    • I'd definitely either hold on to Hart or attempt to trade him. Also, see if Alejandro De Aza is available in your league. He was a great sleeper pick a few weeks ago but now more and more people are becoming aware of him. You could also try to pick up SP Lance Lynn (another sleeper pick that people are now noticing). If you pick up Lynn you will need to drop one of your other pitchers. I agree with the other guys who told you to drop the DL players.

Be patient with some of your players who are under performing at the moment, I have Votto in my lineup too and I'm just going to ride him out. He might not be hitting like a star player right now but he isn't totally stinking it up. Based off his performance in previous years he should turn it around at any point.

If possible try to pick up some players who are currently on a high offense team (Yankees, Rangers, Dodgers, Detroit, etc) Pick up players who bat before the star players on those teams. For instance, anyone who bats before Kemp or Hamilton is likely to get you runs. Hopefully I explained all that correctly. You can use this strategy for anyone who is a star player regardless of the team. You can still benefit from the Kemps of baseball even if you don't actually have them on your team.

    • hey whatsup jay, its still early in the season man...these boards are lame cuz people call people idiots for asking any advice and all. dont even waste your time with them dude, theyre the ones who got their up heads up their a$$es...but just be patient, for instance...you picked up wainwright, you arent going to give up on him...you knew when you picked him that he would have to get back into it after being out for a year. same thing with your team bro, it's too early in the season, what's important is DO NO PANIC...and also don't listen to criticism of lame people who say stupid crap instead of helpful suggestions.

    • I don't care how many IP your league has, you have too many SPs.

Flat out drop Jurrgens (not even in MLB atm), drop or trade Zambrano and vogelsong.

You'll still have 7 SPs to work with. I'm sure you have Santos and Farnsworth on the DL.

Dropping 3 was done on purpose. Now, bench Weeks, Peralta and Stanton. Pick up the top hottest hitter off the FA market, then a SS and a OF and put Young at 2nd.

Sit there with that team, feel free to switch out 'hot' hitters at SS and OF as you like. The day Peralta hits a HR? Put him back in, he'll hit 6 in the next 15 days. The day Stanton hits a HR? put him back in, he'll hit 7 in the next 6 days. The day Weeks hits a HR? He'll hit .400 and hit 4 in the next 6 days.

You have notorious streaky hitters in your drafted line up, manage it with that in mind. The good news is you need to 'mess around' with only 3 positions, and you're pretty much fixed.

    • thanks for your support by calling me an idiot. i appreciate it. i thought the messages boards were here for help and questions.

o btw i gave my old lineup before jurrjens was demoted

    • try to trade Hart, dont just drop him

    • What type of league and how many teams? Even without that, your OF needs an upgrade and you have 3 pitchers not on an active roster at the moment (Jurrjens, Farnsworth, Santos).

    • Dump ARam, Stanton, Hart and half your SPs and anyone on the DL. Pick up some decent talent.
