Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
...where are all the folks that have been raving over Giancarlo Cruz-Michael Stanton over the past 2 years?
LMAO!!! You know who has more HRs than Stanton right now? CHONE FIGGINS!!! Chone mothafuckin' Figgins.
In fact...Figgins has more R, HR, RBI, and SB than Stanton.
You know who else is outpacing Stanton? Mike Aviles.
Stanton = below average MLB player (see Pete Incaviglia) and below average OF (see Rob Deer)
162 game averages are to "weight" a player (like stanton) that comes up mid-season....
not to make up your own stats about a player that produced awesome in his early years but has not even come close to those "averages" in 3+ years....but again....off in your own little world
....so you are saying because people know figgins is garbage that he is a better player since he COULD be slightly better than that.....also, you are saying since people KNOW stanton is good and there could be a chance that he doesnt hit peoples projections that he is garbage....
that makes not one bit of sense unless you are talking about "draft value" which we were talking about the TRUE MLB production...not fantasy value....
so again...go off on your own tangent and TRY to confuse a person with your nonsense....
a fucking college player is "better than the average public" so again dick...your "logic" fails you....harper was drafted #1 overall for a reason...not because he is "better than the average public" (and since you know about "scouting" where is his power ranked in terms of scouting...? TRUE 80...the HIGHEST number possible...) i dont/cant understand how you are seriously this moronic....
Logic tells you that runs scored is about getting on base and being a good base runner.
Logic should also tell you that runs batted in is about timely hitting with runners on base.
...tell me why Mark Reynolds hits 20 more HRs than Michael Young but trails him in both runs scored and runs batted in.
Game, set, and match...Skippy.
