Will give you my thoughts on trades or who to drop, etc.

I have Napoli as my #1 Catcher and J.P.A on the bench should i drop JP and roll with one catcher then pick up Peavy or Dempster for my rotation or Beltran as my 5th OF. 8 team league 15 pick up per season

I dont see alot of upside with keeping JP on your bench. Yeah he will get hot for awhile and hit 20-23 homers but will bat .220 and you dont need that. If you need pitching or depth I would take a chance on Peavy I think. Otherwise Beltran for extra outfielder. Both of them have more to offer you and Arrencebia.

6x6 10 team daily league. I'm not worried about the pitching because I prefer to move guys in and out to get the best match ups and it tends to work for me.
In a 6x6 league
C - Mauer
1b - Edwin Encarnarcion
2b - Ryan Roberts (tentatively agreed on trade for Rickie Weeks)
3b - Emilio Bonafacio
SS - Starlin Castro
IF - Cozart
OF - Giancarlo Stanton
OF - Carlos Gonzalez
OF - Matt Kemp (fell to my lap in the draft)
OF - Adam Jones
OF - Josh Willingham
P - Grienke
P - Aroldis Chapman (for K's and low whip, era...so far)
P - Balfour
SP - Stephen Strasburg
SP - Jordan Zimmerman
SP - Josh Johnson
RP - Heath Bell (tentatively trading for Weeks)
RP - Axford
Bench - Vance Worley (this is my revolving door position, usually him, Holland, Marrow, Loesch, whoever has the best match up that day.
I know I could move an OF to help out in other places but I cant decide who or for who. Any ideas?- 2 Replies to Tanner

Well the only thing you will be short on saves with only one closer. Aroldis Chapman could end up being Cincinnati's closer if he can keep it going but that remains to be seen as they are talking about putting him back in the rotation too. The only outfielder I see as trade bait would be Willingham for another pitcher or topshelf closer if you can get one since he is hot right now. He is the one of those five who will cool off eventually. Holland is looking good so far and should get wins with Texas. Stanton should get going with the power soon I would think although Miami is a hard place to his it out they are saying. Good luck

Alex Gordon and Freddie Freeman are both struggling..who do you feel has a better chance of turning the season around, and will have a better year..
Alex Gordon
Freddie Freeman

Would you rather Braun/Phillips or Cano/Choo
the team with braun can only keep 4 players and already has Bautista, Pujols, J.Upton, S.Castro...So Braun would be traded for draft picks if Cano isnt gotten- 1 Reply to nodnarbnap

Braun/Phillips. more bang for the buck.

12 team 5x5 roto I need more K's from my SP and both Danny Duffy and Peavy are F/A's. I have either Reimold or LaRoche to drop for either. Thoughts? Thanks.

You can only wonder from the past if any of them are the "real deal" from what we see this year so far. LaRoche usually fades and goes into his usual slumps and the same could be said for Reimbold. If I really had to have a pitcher I think I would take a flyer on Duffy he has been electric so far and has pretty good offense behind him with adequate bullpen. Peavy I am not so convinced just yet I need to see a few more starts from him and if he does well he will be gone is the problem there. I would probably drop Reimbold and go with Duffy if I was hurting for Ks and some wins. Good luck Bob

I scrolled back about an hour or more and dont see nothing from a "Jay" about a Stanton or I missed it somehow. Could you resend it I would appreciate it.....sorry.

Would you trade Matt Holliday and Carlos Santana for Dustin Pedroia and Joe Mauer?
I have Espinosa and Altuve at 2B in a 20 team keeper league. My other OFers are Grandy, BJ Upton , and Bourn.
What do you think?- 1 Reply to GJH

No becaue you are giving up tooo much HR/RBIs.Mauer may hit .300 but 15 homeruns at the most. I see mostly speed on your team so cant see you giving up that much. Bourn will hit no homeruns is the thing. He may score 90 runs and steal 50 bases again but minimal homers or rbis. Upton should be ready to go this weekend I am reading and I think he will play friday or saturday if he doesnt have a setback. You would improve on batting average and runs scored but lose homeruns and rbis is what I see without seeing the rest of your lineup and if Mauer goes down your SOL.

Ulbaldo Jiminez worth picking up? He's available in both of my leagues...

Well I would have to see your rosters of both teams to know for sure but he can strikeout people but hasnt regained his 2010 form. He fell apart last year and hasnt done much this year so far. Never hurt to have him on your bench and see if he gets his act together if you have a spot for him.

Yes take Cabrera and Kennedy. Forget about the days off. Over the longhaul you are ahead on this deal. Since you are getting Kennedy for Lester your not losing much but Cabrera really strengthens allready a good lineup. You can insert him at utility and rock and roll on offense. Keep an eye on Buchholtz......dont let him hurt you. He hasnt pitched well for 1 1/2 years now.

One more:
what SP do you think I could get for paul konerko and brandon mccarthy? or what about just konerko
some notable guys on teams looking for a 1B:
team 1: gallardo, haren, beckett
team 2: wainwright, price, hamels
he doesnt have to be from those teams but my pitching is my week spot and i have votto at 1B, id move dustin ackley into my INF slot (my full team is on my previous post if you want/need it)
OR
should i dump votto for a solid pitcher and a solid hitter
thanks- 2 Replies to DOMINATION

Always make a trade if you can to benefit YOU. Konerko is a sold 100 rbi man with 25-30 homers. Team 1 I would go after Haren first and Beckett second. Team 2 I would go after Hamels first and Price secondly. Of all of these I would go after Hamels. Wins/whip/Era he offers it all.

OR should i dump ackley (currently on bench) for a decent pitcher
